Yaaaaaay

I like having money, but I like having things more. Unfortunately this usually means I have a very small balance in my bank account, and lots of awesome stuff that doesn't help me make rent or loan payments. BUT! Yesterday, just as I was trying to figure out how to make ends meet (what with a wedding coming up next weekend at the beach, and the car repairs every which way), I received in the mail my final paycheck from the retail job I had briefly this past fall. I had COMPLETELY forgotten to pick it up from the store despite the fact that I have been there several times since I quit, and it came JUST in time. So now I can pay for the hotel room down in Southport, NC, AND buy the awesome shoes I found at Kohl's the other day.
