Not to get all New Agey/"The Secret" on you, but...

I'll tell you - you put it out there, and the universe really answers. All that whining yesterday helped me visualize what I really wanted... And today I emailed my recruiter - if you are moving to NYC, by the way, and need a temp job, you MUST use Atrium Staffing... they are incredible - to remind her that I'm leaving my current office and need a new placement ASAP. She emailed me back just an hour or two later with the following note:

I am working on a job at [MAJOR publishing company]. It’s a project based assignment assisting with social media and strategic marketing. It would last about a month but potentially could turn into something permanent. The pay would be around 14an hour. Let me know if you are interested and I will submit your resume. Thanks

That is EXACTLY what I am interested in!
Please keep your fingers crossed for me - I really want this one.

Now if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go make myself a vision board. Husband, here I come!! (OMG KIDDING)
